Benidorm is a popular holiday destination often referred to as a cross between Blackpool and Las Vegas. It’s a coastal town, so it boasts lots of the clean beeches all holidaymakers wish for. Benidorm’s beach-maintenance is taken very seriously, the sand spotlessly clean. One thing to remember is that dogs are forbidden from the sands.
Great Activities
Activities like Jet Skiing, Scuba and Catamaran rides can be found at the beaches – just pick up a leaflet from your resort or hotel’s excursion desk. Benidorm also offers the perfect family holiday with its many theme parks and water parks to keep the children busy and entertained. There’s the largest theme park in Europe, Terra Mitica Fun Park, or Aqualandia, where you will get a good soaking experiencing their wet n wild thrills in the flumes and Lagoon.
There was a time when Benidorm was known for its hackneyed karaoke and cabaret nights – although they do still exist – but they’ve since shaken this stigma and know have a diverse nightlife, another reason holidays with children in Benidorm holidaymakers flock to the island. Whether it’s a romantic meal for two, or a lively night in the city, this place has it all.
Fantastic Climate
Benidorm boasts mild year-round weather, perfect for strolling the amazing golf courses. Even out of season holidaying in pleasant due to its increasing popularity as a great winter destination. Although Benidorm is a year-round destination, many of the attractions and theme parks close over October, not re-opening until Easter.
August is the most popular time to book due to school holidays and sizzling weather, so if you don’t have children, book before or after August. The summer months do get exceptionally hot and busy, so spring and autumn are also a great times to visit Benidorm.
