Benidorm is the top destination for Costa Blanca holidays. There are numerous attractions to see in Benidorm and tourists on a holiday lasting a week or two will undoubtedly not fit them all in. With such a variety of things to see, it is easy to see why so many people decide to go back to the area year after year. In addition, many of these attractions are located nearby and some can even be reached by tram.
The most popular attractions of Benidorm are the renowned sandy beaches of Playa Levante and Playa Poniente. There is also Finestrat to be found further away. These beaches have promenades full of boutiques, restaurants and bars.
Other popular attractions the town has to offer are theme parks. Benidorm is famous for its theme parks and the best include Terra Natura-Aqua Natura and Terra Mitica, as well as Mundomar and Aqualandia. Terra Mitica is themed on the ancient world, whereas Terra Natura is divided into four areas including a zoo and live entertainment. Aqualandia boasts more than 30 rides and Mundomar houses exotic aquatic creatures such as sea lions.
The Benidorm Palace is another tourist hotspot where guests can enjoy dinner and a show. The glamorous costumes and artists from across the globe make this destination a place to remember.
Marco Polo Expeditions offer tourists such activities as paint balling, quad biking, snorkelling and trekking. Their offices can be found on the corner of Avenida Europan and Avenida Mediterraneo.
No trip to Benidorm would be complete without a trip to sea on a boat. The boats leave the marina around 11am and venture up the coast to Calpe, which has good beaches as well as promenades offering many types of cuisine.
